  • THE HOUSE SYSTEM

There are four houses in the school. Named Vigilance, Sincerity, Perseverance, and Knowledge, based on the school motto. All students from Class Tulips and above are assigned to a particular house. Each house has its own house uniform and house flag. House meetings or inter-house competitions are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. All students must wear their house uniform on the aforementioned days. Each house has faculty members as their house masters. A house captain, literary, sports, and cultural captain, is elected/nominated among the other students of each house. Inter-house competitions are held in literary, cultural, and sports fields. Points are awarded to the houses that win these competitions. At the end of the year, the houses with the highest points in literary, cultural, and sports events are awarded the respective trophies. The house with the highest overall score is awarded the "Best House of the Year" trophy. Each student winning a position in any event in the inter-house competition is given a certificate of merit.
